The unity of Sparta and Athens was also greatly influenced by these invasions starting in the time of fear of the Persians while these city-states were constantly against each other, the repulsion of the Persians’ attack by the Athenians gave them a sense of self-worth and prestige, as a result, there were new audacity and political change.
